We even have designs that feature changeable components so they can go from scooter to skateboard in just seconds! We’re still in Week 1 and he hasn’t quite got the hang of scooting yet but we take it out with us everyday and he loves to wheel it around himself and get pulled along on it. From Peppa Pig to Spiderman themed children's scooters, our colourful range has got something that will surely get your little ones excited. This is a really lasting product which converts from a seat with a parent handle to a full scooter with a T-bar! But we had to give it a pass because it was just generally too big as a beginner scooter and doesn’t have the steer lock function.

GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD The 3-height adjustable T-bar can be adjusted as your child grows and TPR grips ensure that e-scooter cruising is always comfortable. KID-FRIENDLY ACCELERATOR The push-button throttle integrated on the T-bar means kids can keep hold of the handlebars and safely accelerate up to 10km/h. It’s not quite the fanciest scooter on the block – the plastic fittings and eye-watering pink are a little garish – but it doesn’t look cheap or flimsy. The scooter has a number of safety features built in including the parental control handle when used as a balance bike so you know they can't zoom off when they're not confident enough. When given a good shove to the front or to the side, the rubber ends of the hand grips hit first, which are big enough to take the impact without damage. It also increased the riding and balancing confidence of our tester’s toddler, as she was able to practice regularly for small amounts of time. Browse our full range of skateboards for plenty of choice including some seriously cool retro rides featuring LED wheels. From your little ones first riding experience to when they’re ready to become scooting masters, Plum® has something tailored to each age and ability. Safety is our first philosophy at Plum® and sits at the very heart of our brand; so you the parent, can have peace of mind.

It has a slimmer frame than other models out there and doesn’t have a foot brake or adjustable handlebars but it folds and is very light weight. The Globber range offers a series of ride-on scooters that transform from that first walking and push bike, to their first scoot for beginners. I'm not going to lie, I handed it over to T to put together assuming it'd be way too hard {and frustrating} for me to put together. With Easter holidays fast-approaching, Lidl is selling a range of outdoor kids toys that are so fun, they will make grown-ups green with envy. I received a scooter from Globber for the purpose of review, but did not receive payment for this review. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. With the steer lock on, we wheeled him around, which he absolutely loved, then showed him how it moves if you push off with your foot. Yes, the T-bar of the scooter can be extended, but the baseboard felt too light and small for her seven-year-old, who was more comfortable on the Globber Elite Deluxe. Unlike most of the other kids in mothers group bub wasn't really interested in any ride on toys until well after she could walk.

In the pink model our tester used, dirt became trapped in the ridges on the baseboard and was visible because of the light colour. The brake is also easy to apply over the back pedal, for both kids once they've mastered it and parents who may need to stop it for the younger kids. It’s a little tricky to get up high kerbs – our tester ended up either lifting it bodily from the front or spinning round and dragging from the back – but the movement in general is smooth, quick and easy to control. It is fully functional and has been professionally refurbished, tested, inspected and cleaned to excellent condition by qualified sellers. We want to be there every step of the way as your child starts to explore their independence through scootering. For kids with a need for speed, electric scooters are an amazing choice so they can enjoy zooming about. Well-designed and functional in each of its three modes, the progression allows your toddler to learn new motor skills one at a time – all while being robust enough to take any number of toddler batterings for years to come.

REVIEW – Sometimes a review offer will come in for us Gadgeteers that couldn’t have been timed better. At no point does the Go Up Comfort Play feel in danger of tipping forwards, even when our tester’s three-year-old leaned well over the handlebars for momentum (as she did often).

The Comfort model has a more generous seat than the Sporty version (and added foot rests), and the Play models include a light-up horn.
