Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not is the debut studio album by English rock band Arctic Monkeys, released on 23 January 2006 by Domino Recording Company. The guitar playing, drumming and vocals completely embody that angst which so many teenagers go through. For me, it has a lot of memories attached to it so I'll always think of it as their best for me, but it captures a period of British music where things felt original and unique which is sorely lacking these days.
