Description

By considering these factors, you can select a pelvic floor exerciser that suits your preferences, goals, and helps effectively.

Recommended by continence specialists, the Pelvic Floor Educator is an effective and easy to use incontinence treatment that has been used by continence specialists throughout the world for many years. If you contract your pelvic floor muscles and the indicator moves downward, you can be sure you’re performing the exercises correctly. Its unique shape allows it to follow the movements of the inner walls of the vagina, indicating how the pelvic floor muscles contract.Even if you can already do pelvic floor exercises, the Educator can assess your technique and monitor your improvement! The external indicator stick amplifies this movement to show whether these muscles are being contracted correctly or not. These devices can help to tone pelvic floor muscles and can be a helpful aid for those living with incontinence. Thanks, bloody hell I don't think I'd even be able to grab hold of the stick with mine, the thing would fall out, do they make them in extra wide? Will be interested to hear if you think it makes a difference, I will watch this thread so keep us updated.

The outside of the Educator® amplifies this movement to show whether these muscles contract correctly or not. As you contract your muscles, the indicator wand will follow the internal walls of the vagina, so you’ll know if you’re doing it correctly. The probe is inserted into the vagina and external the indicator s tick will move downwards when you contract your deep pelvic floor muscles correctly and move back up when you relax them fully again. The unique shape of the Pelvic Floor Educator is designed to sit in the vagina and stay in place during use. If you are unable to contract your pelvic floor at all, or you have been assessed by your gynaecologist or women's health physiotherapist as having a grade 2 pelvic floor (no lift) you will need to work towards a grade 3 (some lift) before seeing results using the Pelvic Floor Educator. We also offer a choice of other body monitors and biofeedback devices to help keep your training on track.

Please note that product has two leads attached for when it is used for muscle stimulation, however can be used without a machine for biofeedback. Our simplest and cheapest feedback device, ideal if you want to confirm that you are exercising correctly. Rated 8/10 in the Daily Mail by Penelope Law: renowned consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Hillingdon Hospital and The Portland Hospital, London For a short explanation of why the committee made these recommendations and how they might affect practice, see the rationale and impact section on community-based multidisciplinary teams. Its shape is contoured like the internal walls of the vagina, reading how much the muscles are contracting. from week 20 of pregnancy, for pregnant women who have a first-degree relative with pelvic floor dysfunctionIf you are unable to contract your pelvic floor at all, or you have been assessed by your gynaecologist or women's health physiotherapist as having a grade 2 pelvic floor (no lift) you will need to work towards a grade 3 (some lift) before seeing results using the Pelvic Floor Educator.
