About this deal

Eva feels betrayed and abandoned when her lover, Shane leaves. Eva has become a bestselling erotica writer , and Shane is an award-winning novelist now. The two met each other again during a literary event held in Brooklyn, New York , after fifteen years. I'm going to have an unpopular opinion about this book. So many people have loved this book and have found it be heartbreakingly beautiful. While I found the writing to be spectacular, I just couldn't get behind the story itself. I couldn’t get enough of their reconnection as adults. I so enjoyed how they both were writing to each other in their successful novels. Both both are a crossroads when it comes to their writing. While Eva is ready to write a more serious book inspired by her family’s past, Shane is now sober and has never written a book without a drink. view spoiler) [I got the idea from my life! I'm Jenna, just not as well-dressed or brave. Much like her, I'd had a glamorous, exciting career as a magazine editor -- and then suddenly, in my late-thirties, the rug got pulled out from under me (laid off, divorce, depression, the worst). I had to completely reinvent myself, from scratch. I was in a dark place for a couple of years. Then, one day, I decided I needed to invent a superhero alter ego who was going through similar things, but came out on top! That was Jenna, and the story became The Perfect Find. I wasn't sure what to rate this because there were things I LOVED and things I didn't love quite as much. I also don't really think I was adequately prepared for what this book would be like. I thought it would be one of those quirky romances that are kind of light-hearted and while this was that in parts, it was also quite dark and contains a number of content warnings for some pretty upsetting things. Reading it ended up being kind of like a rollercoaster with lots of ups and downs, and while that did work for me, it might confuse or put off some readers.

It’s funny, I’m not really sure, either. I never really realized I was writing romance, but my novels all have a strong central love story with a happy ending, and that meets the parameters of the genre! The publishing industry defines literary books as being primarily character-driven, as opposed to plot, but so many genre novels have brilliant characterizations.Overall, this is truly a romantic read that will make you want the TV version to come out ASAP. Verdict Plus, I had my own romance with a very young guy, too. I couldn’t make it work in real life, so I wanted it to happen somewhere! I felt like there were a lot of fun places I could go with that generation gap. Jenna’s 40, but she’s in love with a guy who became legal, like, yesterday. What she wants and what he wants are drastically different. Brooklynite Eva Mercy is a single mom and bestselling erotica writer, who is feeling pressed from all sides. Shane Hall is a reclusive, enigmatic, award-winning literary author who, to everyone's surprise, shows up in New York.

I wanna be everything. Wanna be the reason you light up. I wanna make you laugh, make you moan, make you safe. I want to be the thought that lulls you to sleep. The memory that gets you off. I wanna be where all your paths end. I wanna be everything you do to me." So now it’s another seven days together. They reconnect but Eva has plenty of questions and doubts when it comes to Shane. What happened fifteen years ago? And can they give it another go as adults? Eva and Shane So, I have found myself a perfect book. A perfect book that should’ve been longer, because why do stories need to end again?

Are you curious about the books and authors Stephen King has enjoyed reading in the last 40 years or so? Would you like access to a list of these books and an opportunity to read and discuss them with others? If so, you are at the right place! Seven Days in Sunny June” details a fleeting moment of romance between two long time friends, and Jay Kay’s enduring but unreciprocated feelings. Seven Days in Sunny June (UK CD1 liner notes). Whether I lose you for years or wake up to your face every morning. I love you. You’re my home. And I want you forever.”

While Shane is in town over the next week, he and Eva spend time together but Eva has her guard up, considering their past. The story alternate between their current week and their time together 15 years ago. Editorial note: I received a copy of Seven Days in June in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.The Seven Days in June’s plot sometimes makes you smile and sometimes cry. The message of this book is that people with disabilities and illnesses can also find love and happiness. The author's storytelling ability is commendable. Start enjoying how it feels in you. Read and Edit Seven Days in June PDF She’s such a beautiful, funny, incredible character. Her dealing with her invisible disability and the pain while working and being perfect single mum really showed how strong her character was. Her life when she was 17 was heartbreaking. What she was dealing with and how she was dealing with it. made my heart hurts for her. She deserves the best 🫶🏻 her character development and how she overcome her past trauma to be the perfect mother for her daughter and the best version of herself made me really proud 🫂 The Author Resource Round Table on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_folder/116489?group_id=26989 I loved EVERYTHING about this gem! The chemistry between Eva and Shane is OFF THE CHARTS! I felt electricity in the air every time I read a scene with them in the vicinity of each other. While there is a scene or two with serious steam, it doesn’t overpower the book, and still allows for deeper aspects.

The overly descriptiveness, especially referencing the clothes everyone was wearing and who designed them was tiresome. Generational trauma is a real and complicated thing to undo. I think it's interesting to look at past generations and current generations and see how they work through the things they've been through. As a millennial and proudly part of the first generation to talk about needing/encouraging people to seek psychological help -- this has been one of my favorite reads in a very long time. Eva Mercy, a single mum and erotic writer, and Shane Hall, an award winning literary author meet at a book event and sparks fly. What no one else knows though, is that they've met before, after having a week long romance when they were teenagers. As they reconnect in this second chance romance, can Eva trust Shane after he broke her heart fifteen years ago? As Shane is battling with his own demons, can they make it work? May was a bit of a bust for me reading wise other than The Last Thing He Told Me. I can tell many books published this year were written during the pandemic and they just have a bit of a down vibe. But Seven Days in June broke that trend—it’s compelling, romantic and complicated, with some humor but also tough scenes. It’s not simply a love story. But about survival and accepting who you truly are—flaws included. What’s the Book About PDF / EPUB File Name: Seven_Days_in_June_-_Tia_Williams.pdf, Seven_Days_in_June_-_Tia_Williams.epubEva and Shane deserve the world. i really enjoyed how this book gave us equally parts deep characters and an enticing story. i was on my knees crying for these characters and hoping the best for them💖😭 Eva and Shane had some great chemistry, and definitely had unfinished business! There were a couple of very steamy scenes🔥🔥🔥 Are you curious about the books and authors Stephen King has enjoyed reading in the last 40 years or so? Honestly, you shouldn't be allowed to have orgasms like that before you're twenty-one. It gives you brain damage." - YALL. I cried laughing at this. It's true. I love love love Eva and Shane! It’s been a while since I’ve read such strong characters in a love story. I went into this novel believing it would be more of a lighter read but there’s actually quite a bit of depth. We follow their journey from reconnecting as adults to their first meeting as teenagers.
